Tentative Time Schedule

Train to become a certified American Red Cross lifeguard and learn valuable skills including injury prevention, facility safety, patron surveillance, emergency preparation, rescue skills, victim assessment, first aid, CPR/AED and care for head, neck and spinal injuries.

Participants 17 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult during the prerequisite activities. Participants must be present for pre-requisite testing and all four class days.

Fee: $125.00/ participant (Classes are currently not being offered)
Must pre-register for a session.
(Minimum age 15 years old)
(If under 18 a parent or guardian must be present for the prerequisites in case of an emergency.)
Pre-Requisites: (Classes are currently not being offered)

- Swim 300 yards continuously
- Complete a timed retrieval of a 10lb object from a depth of 7ft.-10ft.,
- Tread water with no hands for 2 minutes in deep water.

*In the event a participant fails to complete the prerequisite test, he/she may request a refund minus the $50 non-refundable fee or transfer to another Lifeguard Training Session at no additional cost.  Transfers will only be allowed once per participant for free.
Pre Requs take place on first day of registered class Thursday at 5pm.

Location: Boys Club Pool Thursday and Friday – 5:30pm-9:00pm
Saturday and Sunday – 8:00am-8:00pm
