McSports- After School

As part of the current After School Program, a new sports development program will implement sport skills and technique activities while also focusing on healthy nutrition and reinforcing positive character traits.

Every six weeks, all registered program participants will focus on learning a different sport. Sports include football, kickball, volleyball, floor hockey, baseball, flag football, ultimate Frisbee and track. A maximum of 15 students per grade level (2nd/3rd - 4th/5th) will be eligible to compete in a fun team tournament to showcase all of their new skills.

The student teams will compete during the tournament against other after school sites at the end of the three-week session.  All of the McSports after school coaches receive quality training in each individual sport and are committed to providing a safe and fun learning environment.  Participants must be registered in the after school program in order to the eligible to compete in the tournament.
